Patrick Callahan is a stand-up comedian, filmmaker, and comedy producer based in Dayton, Ohio. His comedy combines deadpan delivery, offbeat observations, and a willingness to follow a strange idea all the way to its logical—or completely illogical—conclusion.
Growing up in Xenia, Ohio, Patrick developed the perspective that now informs his stand-up: ordinary situations viewed from a slightly unusual angle. Onstage, he favors a straight face and a quick turn, giving the audience just enough time to think they know where a joke is going before it takes another route.
Patrick appeared on Kill Tony at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, where he was the first bucket pull of the night. He has hosted for comedians including Ric Diez and Jessie “Jetski” Johnson, and has performed with Don’t Tell Comedy and at clubs and independent shows across the Midwest.
He is also the technical director of Bricky’s Comedy Club, bringing his experience in cameras, audio, and live production into the comedy room. That work has made him as comfortable behind the lens as he is in front of a microphone. He photographs performances, films sets, edits videos, and helps turn live comedy into something audiences can discover after the show ends.
His original comedy series, Bits & Pieces, extends that approach beyond the stage. Built around short-form sketches and episodic ideas, the project gives Patrick room to explore characters, premises, and stories that don't fit neatly into a stand-up set. Early installments include Best Meal and Salesman — Part 1.
Whether he’s performing stand-up, working on a comedy production, or developing his own projects, Patrick’s focus is the same: make something funny, make it well, and give people a reason to watch the next one.
